Stories Updated
Have just updated the site with a couple fics by Enigma and Baloo - fantastic old skool DA authors! While a couple authors here update their own stories - which I'm tremendously grateful for! - many stories here are updated by me. Unfortunate really, for as much as I love this site, I rarely get around to making these sporadic updates! However if you're waiting for a particular story to be updated, please contact me via 'Contact Us' link at bottom of page or just leave a comment on this news item with details of the title/author. Welcome to our newest author Seamagik whose stories I have begun to upload to the archive!So far I have two of her stories up, and don't hold your breath in anticipation of my next update as you must well know by now that I'm incredibly sporadic and have been spending far too much time in the offline world to make it onto the internet much these days... For those wondering where this so random quote thing is that I mentioned previously, it is coming... Just that lately I've been a bit tied up with my latest project. What's the latest project I hear you ask with all the enthusiasm as a snail on a hot day? My new daughter! Yes that's right folks, Breaca Lily was born on 4 Feb and getting stuff done online (or in general actually) has been forced even further to the back of my life's list of things to do! But for good reason, eh? For a new 'random' script I'm putting on the TBW home page, I need your favourite fan fiction quotes from stories listed here at the archive! So, if you're reading a fic and come across a great line you think is worth quoting, please email it to me along with the author & story name, so I can put them into the script. Each quote will link back to the story itself to help generate more traffic to the stories listed here. At long last I've created a new layout for the site. Inspired by Zack aka X5-599, it's currently set as the default skin to unlogged visitors. To change back to the previous skin, select 'Freedom' from the drop down box in the homepage sidebar, or if you're logged in, go to Edit Preferences under Account Info and set your own default skin. Hope you like! :)Also: The Terms of Service and Help page have been updated. Next task is to work on the categories. Due to my complete lack of organisational skills, they're a disaster. Therefore I think I'll drop certain categories and turn them into classifications instead. I don't know... The site theme has now been fixed to work with the new script archive. However, if you come across any problems, please contact me through the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page.There are a few cool new functions with this upgrade. One is that you can now see how many views/reads a story has had. Pay in this mind, this counter has only begun since the upgrade and as that was only last night, most stories will show 0 counts. Don't panic and think your story has never been read :) Also, you can add new info to your member profile such as livejournal & myspace links.
